The Montana Optional Local Government Review Amendment, also known as C-6, was on the November 7, 1978 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure required an election every ten years to determine whether a local government review was necessary. A majority of voters was needed to approve the review in order to elect a study commission.[1][2]
