Murray City Current Expenses Levy Renewals, 2 (November 2011)
Two Murray City Current Expenses Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Murray which is in Hocking County.
Both measures were approved[1]
These measures were both the same, they sought to renew the current expenses levy which is set at a rate of $.50 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for current expenses in the city.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Murray City for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding five (5.0) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to fifty cents ($0.50) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
