Neil K. Sherring
Neil K. Sherring is a housing court circuit judge for the Massachusetts Housing Courts. He was nominated to the court by Republican Governor Charlie Baker in 2018.[1] He may serve on the court until he reaches the age of 70.[2]
Education
Sherring received his undergraduate degree from Curry College and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.[1]
Career
Sherring was a partner in his own law firm, Dakoyannis & Sherring, LLC, from 2001 to 2018. He previously worked as a trial attorney at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, as an assistant attorney general and assistant district attorney for the Northwestern District of Massachusetts, and as a Massachusetts Superior Court law clerk and hearing officer for the Division of Insurance.[1]
