The New Hampshire Same-Sex Marriage Question did not make the November 2012 ballot in New Hampshire as an advisory question. The proposed question would have been a non-binding ballot resolution asking voters if they want to keep civil unions for same-sex partners or if they objected to the repealing of same-sex marriage. The ballot question was part of a proposal before the New Hampshire Legislature attempting to repeal the 2010 law permitting same-sex marriage in the state.[1] The proposal died when the House voted 211 to 116 against the bill.[2]

The bill and question were sponsored by State Representative David Bates.[1]
