The New York Bond for Emergency Relief, Proposition 1, also known as Proposition 1, was on the 1934 ballot in New York as a legislatively referred state statute. It was approved. This measure created a $40 million state debt to provide funds for temporary emergency relief from November 15, 1934, through February 15, 1936.[1]
