Economic growth in the private sector and workforce development in schools, community colleges, and universities. Keep NC as the #1 place to do business and continue lowering taxes.

Educational excellence in K-12 reading, writing, math, and civics to prepare our students for 21st century careers. Offer competitive educator compensation packages and career paths for educators. Promote justice and opportunity for all students. Ensure our public schools are safe from drugs, violence, and bullying.

Public Safety support to recruit, equip, and train excellent first responders to keep communities safe for families and businesses.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

"Economic growth, Education, Public Safety, Health, and Housing are all areas I am passionate about. There is much opportunity to improve for the people of North Carolina. I will work with bi-partisan teams in the house to improve these areas and exhibit strong leadership skills to solve problems and create innovative solutions for families, businesses, and communities in Guilford County, NC. My 13 years of experience in business accounting, finance, IT, and project management will be instrumental in creating wise policies for economic growth and workforce development. My 15 years in K-12 public education as a teacher leader will be an asset to developing education policies that work for our NC children, parents, and educators. I will be ready on day 1 to serve families, businesses, and communities." Michelle
