Going green for future generations will be very vital topic to me to conserve our environment. Offering biodegradable trash options and educating the people on how landfills don’t get smaller they increase and take up space and house pollution.

Allowing the veterans, ex-offenders, and falsely accused another chance to make a living for themselves vs getting a door slammed in their face.

Providing resources that actually help the people like housing, rental assistance, healthcare things that should assist the people if funds are available to do so.
The areas of public policy in which I’m personally passionate about are global warming issues, healthcare for elderly, children safety in schools, discrimination, as well as cleaner drinking water.
Some individuals I look up to are: Madam Cj Walker, Rosa Parks, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and many more legends who made a difference.
Some characteristics and principles most important for an elected official are humbleness, high intellectual skills, adaptability, compassion and a militant mind state to protect our children and elderly from harm even if we have to stand up for them.
Some qualities I posses that would make me a successful officeholder is my ability to build effective relationships to network between many business and the community in my district. You wont just be blown off when it comes to a issue in my city because it’s my duty to serve the people while God gives me the opportunity.
I believe the core responsibilities for someone elected to State House is community involvement most importantly because you are nothing without your source.
The legacy I hope to leave is the turning point of when people awaken and understand we are all the same and we need each other to make it through evolution. The side of me ignoring the odds will be what I’d like young adults to see when striving for something. No matter what odds your faced against be the light that no one can dim!
The first historical event that happened in my lifetime was when the First Black President was elected at the time I was 15 and at that moment I knew that I wonted to follow next in line.
My first job was at 8 years old I had an apprenticeship for a hair salon folding towels, sweeping hair off the floor, and greeting the customers for a salon named ShonarAe’s Boutique of Hair & Elegance. I worked for the salon until it closed for
My favorite book is 48 Laws of Power.
If I could be a fictional character I would be Women King.
The last song that became stuck in my head was Kirk Franklin ft Lil Baby called Win!
Some things that have been a struggle for me was my battle with stage 4 cancer I beat 3 years ago. Each day I see my little girls I know they expect me to guide them, love them, and be the same mom that will nurture, protect, and direct them. One of my daughters is a patient at Duke Pidiatrics so her smile means the world to me but if reminds me everyday I owe her everything.
The qualities the U.S House representatives posses that makes it the most unique institution is its right in the middle of the people and the law makers. So helping the people by listening and offering their solutions to congress and the legislature is what brings change for the better as long as you have the right people in office.
Yes it’s very beneficial to have previous experience so you under the ropes better but that doesn’t mean that the job won’t still get done as equally or possibly even better than someone who will make a change over being complacent on a place of power.
My perception of what the US greatest challenge will be over the next decade to be global warming and shortage of resources if we don’t take a stand and come up with alternative solutions.
Yes being that I’m not a current representative I would love to be apart of many democratic committees to help keep the power of unity closer. Possibly even create some new committees.
Yes I believe that’s a fair amount of time to serve as long as the right things are being handled properly. Much longer term should be considered if the people should think so my opinion.
My thoughts on term limits are each person should have a chance in the seat to keep a fresh mind state afloat.
I would only wont to model myself to be like myself and to get better each term.
Yes, the most memorable personal stories was about a single father who had to take care of his daughter without any help of his family or the deceased mother. Juggling going to school and work while taking care of a small child he had to drop out of school to maintain the bills. After becoming stable he had so many student loans it was almost impossible to get back into school to later learn that it was programs and assistance to help in every area but he just didn’t know where to go to apply. That’s my biggest mission if elected that no citizen is left behind.
Knock knock…

Who’s there? Me… Me who?

Me minding my business so John Hardister can mind his own business 😎 and leave mine alone 🤣
Yes I do believe that comprised decisions are necessary so that all views are brought to the table for a wider retrospective.
The role of raising revenue would be a increase in hourly wages because if rent goes up then the hourly wages must follow. The role of the house is to bring the issues that don’t seem to be working out to well and enhancing them to be a better fit for our state as a whole.
