Norton & Springfield School District Bond Measures, 2 (May 2010)
Two Norton & Springfield School District Bond Measures were on the May 4, 2010 ballot in these two school districts which are in Summit County.
The Norton measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $27,505,239 in order to help pay for construction, rebuilding and renovating of school facilities. This would have added an additional 46 cents, per $100 of assessed value, to local property taxes.
The Springfield measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $33,725,000 in order to help pay for new classroom construction. This measure will add 43 cents, per $100 of assessed value, to local property taxes.[1]
