Three seats on the Ogden School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Precincts 2, 4 and 7 were up for re-election. Each incumbent faced one challenger.
In the Precinct 2 race, incumbent Steven L. Marker lost to challenger Douglas B. Barker. In the Precinct 4 race, incumbent Jeffrey Heiner defeated Dori Stauffer Mosher. In the Precinct 7 race, incumbent Joyce J. Wilson defeated Aaron G. Garza.

Ogden School District is located in Weber County, Utah. The county seat is Ogden. Weber County was home to 240,475 residents in 2014, according to the United States Census Bureau.[1] In the 2012-2013 school year, Ogden School District was the 13th-largest school district in Utah and served 12,710 students.[2]
Demographics
Weber County underperformed in comparison to the rest of Utah in terms of higher education achievement and median household income in 2013. The United States Census Bureau found that 22.7 percent of county residents aged 25 years and older had attained a bachelor's degree compared to 30.3 percent for Utah as a whole. The median household income was $54,974 compared to $58,821 for the state of Utah. The poverty rate in Utah County was 12.8 percent compared to 12.7 percent for the entire state.[1]
