Paul G. Gessner
Paul G. Gessner was a superior court judge for the 10C Judicial District of the Third Division of the Superior Court. He was first elected to the court in November 2006.[1] Gessner stepped down from the bench on December 31, 2015, to work as an attorney for the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.[2]

Education
Gessner received his undergraduate degree in criminal justice from North Carolina Wesleyan College and his J.D. from the Campbell University School of Law.[4]
Career
Before joining the superior court, Gessner served as a district court judge for the 10th Judicial District for ten years. He has also served as a police officer for the city of Raleigh and as a prosecutor for Wake County.[1]
