Two School District Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the school districts of Perry and Shawnee which are in Allen County.
Both measures were approved
The Perry school measure sought to renew the current school levy which is set at a rate of 4.9 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for current expenses of the school district.
- YES 664 (66.47%)
- NO 335 (33.53%)
The Shawnee school measure sought to renew the current school levy which is set at a rate of 5.87 mills for a further ten years in order to continue to pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district.[1]
- YES 3,843 (63.25%)
- NO 2,233 (36.75%)[2]
