Perry & Shawnee Township Fire Levy Renewals, 3 (November 2011)

Three Perry & Shawnee Township Fire Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the townships of Perry and Shawnee which are in Allen County.

All three measures were approved

The first Perry township measure sought to renew the current fire tax which is set at a rate of 1 mill for a further five years in order to continue to pay for emergency medical and fire protection services in the township.

  • NO 325 (32.8%)

The second Perry township measure sought to renew the current fire tax which is set at a rate of 1.5 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for emergency medical and fire protection services in the township.

  • YES 657 (66.3%)Approveda
  • NO 334 (33.7%)

The Shawnee township measure sought to renew the current fire tax which is set at a rate of 1.5 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services in the township.[1]
