Candidate Connection

Raymond Mueller completed Ballotpedia's Candidate Connection survey. The survey questions appear in bold and are followed by Mueller's responses.

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

1. Putting students first. 2. Proper management of district finances and resources. 3. Restoring trust and building relationships so teachers, staff, parents, residents and the district can work together for our children and our future. By making financially sound and needed investments in our district infrastructure and staff, and with a professional grace and respect, we will govern with transparency that puts our students first.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Education, taxes / spending and health / safety would be my three top areas of policy. Each is intertwined, dependent on the others and vital to the progress of our society.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

I remember Richard Nixon's departure from the presidency covered by the Saturday morning cartoon news short, In The News at about age 9.
