Three Redstone Water & Sanitation District Tax Increase Measures were on the November 1, 2011 ballot in the Redstone water and sanitation district area which is in Pitkin County.

All three measures were approved

The first measure sought to increase the current district property taxes by a rate of $70,336 a year in order to further pay for maintenance and operational costs in the district.

  • YES 44 (72%)Approveda
  • NO 17 (28%)

The second measure sought to increase the current district property taxes by a rate of $138,987 a year in order to pay for debt repayment costs in the district.

  • YES 41 (69%)Approveda
  • NO 18 (31%)

The third measure sought to allow the district to retain taxes collected above the set limit.[1]

  • YES 42 (70%)Approveda
