Reginald K. Whitehead
Reginald K. Whitehead is a judge of the Florida 9th Circuit Court. His current term ends on January 5, 2027.
Whitehead won re-election for judge of the Florida 9th Circuit Court outright after the general election on November 3, 2020, was canceled.
Education
Whitehead received a B.S. degree in political science from the University of Mississippi in 1983 and a J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1986.[1]
Career
Whitehead began his career in September of 1986 as a prosecutor for the 9th Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office. He then worked as a partner of the law firm of Batts & Whitehead in Orlando from July of 1989 through December of 1993. The following January, he joined the Orange County Court, where he served until his elevation to the circuit court in October of 1995.[2]
