I have been a school counselor for 22 + years. I am the mother of two and a committed volunteer in NMUSD. I strongly support parents’ rights and know every child deserves a great education.

It is time to take a career’s worth of passion and proven effectiveness and lead the effort to drastically improve campus safety, student well-being, transparent curriculum and academic success in the NMUSD.

I vow to lead the fight as NMUSD Area 5 Trustee. It would be an honor to serve in Newport Mesa. I will advocate for the most important members of our community – our children.
  • Campus Safety & Student Well-being. We must fortify our campuses and ensure that the district has the best pipeline of mental health services that respect and encourage parent input.
  • Parents' Rights: I will advocate for parents - I want immediate engagement with parents in the form of townhalls and oversight committees for curriculum, etc.. that have parent representation.
  • Factual/Transparent Curriculum: Parents have the right to know all that is taught in the classroom. Historically and scientifically accurate materials must be a top priority in our schools.
Bullying, Censorship, Charter Schools/Vouchers, Child Abuse, Homelessness, Civil Rights
