Ricardo O. Carrillo is a judge of the Duval County Court in Texas. He was elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015, for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[1]

Carrillo ran for election to the Duval County Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 57 percent of the vote. He competed against Roberto Elizondo.
General: He won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014. [1][2][3] 

Education

Carrillo earned a B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio, going on to receive his J.D. from Texas Southern University. He was admitted to the bar in 1983.[4]

Career

Carillo has experience as a lawyer. He also has experience with cattle, and has stated, "I consider myself a rancher who practices law."[5]
