Richard J. McMahon is a probate and family court justice for the Bristol Probate and Family Court in Bristol County, Massachusetts.[1][2] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on February 7, 2012, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Elizabeth O. LaStaiti.[3] McMahon's appointment was confirmed by the Governor's Council on February 22, 2012.[4]

Education

McMahon received his undergraduate degree from St. Francis College and his J.D. from George Mason University.[5]

Career

Before he joined the Bristol Probate and Family Court, McMahon served as the executive director of the South Coastal Counties Legal Services, Inc. in Fall River, Massachusetts.[3]
