Richard Tucker (Massachusetts)
Richard T. Tucker was an associate justice for the Massachusetts Superior Courts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick (D) on September 9, 2008.[2] His nomination was confirmed by the Governor's Council on October 1, 2008, and Tucker was sworn into office on October 15, 2008.[3] He may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[4]
Education
Tucker received his undergraduate degree from Colgate University and his J.D. from the Suffolk University Law School.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Tucker practiced law as a civil litigator with the firm of Bernstein, Burwick, Tucker & Stern in Worcester, Massachusetts, for more than 30 years.[2]
