Robert George was an associate judge for the 39th Judicial Circuit Court in Missouri. He was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for a term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2018.[1]
George retired in January 2021.[2]

Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 37 percent of the vote. He competed against Bryan Berry, Stacy Tomlin and Shara Martin.
General: He faced Randee Stemmons in the general election on November 4, 2014.

George ran for election to the 39th Circuit Court in Missouri in 2010. He was defeated in the Republican primary by Samuel C. Jones, with 48% of the vote.[4]

George received his undergraduate degree from Missouri Southern State College and his J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa.[5]

Noteworthy cases
George orders poacher to watch Bambi once per month during year-long jail sentence (2018)
In December 2015, George sentenced David Berry Jr., a convicted deer poacher, to one year in Lawrence County jail, during which time Berry was ordered to watch the Disney film Bambi at least once per month beginning no later than December 23, 2018. The charges against Berry, and his ultimate conviction, stemmed from a Missouri Department of Conservation investigation beginning in 2015 that resulted in 230 separate charges being filed against 14 state residents in 11 counties.[7]
