Roderick Becker
Roderick Becker was a nonpartisan director of finance, also known as the treasurer, in Hawaii. Gov. David Ige (D) appointed Becker to the position on January 8, 2019.[1] Becker did not receive confirmation from the Hawaii State Senate and stepped down from the position in March 2019.[2]
Biography
Becker served as comptroller and head of the Department of Accounting and General Services from November 2016 to January 2019. He was the deputy director of the Department of Budget and Finance from December 2014 to November 2016. He previously worked as budget chief for the Hawaii State Senate. Becker is a certified public finance officer.[1]
