Ron Aribo
Ron Aribo was a candidate for District 1 representative on the Atlanta City Council in Georgia. Aribo was defeated in the general election on November 7, 2017.
Biography
Aribo earned his B.S. in political science from Georgia State University. He later received his master's degree from the University of West Georgia. Aribo is an operations officer with the U.S. Army Reserve. He is also an analyst with the U.S. Government Accountability Office.[1]

The city of Atlanta, Georgia, held a general election for mayor, city council president, three at large council members, 13 by district council members, and two city judges on November 7, 2017.[2] Incumbent Carla Smith defeated Mo Ivory, Bill Powell, Oz Hill, and Ron Aribo in the general election for the District 1 seat on the city council.[3]
