Christ's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[3]
Jobs
- Excerpt: "We need to pursue smart policies to help create good jobs at good wages for the people of the 103rd and our state as a whole. I pledge to work diligently to bring more jobs to our district, so that we can expand the middle class and make life better for everyone."
Education
- Excerpt: "As a product and teacher in public schools, Roy knows the value of that system and the power of a good education. These feelings pushed Roy to want to serve on the
Harrisburg School Board. While he had to make some very difficult choices as President of the board, they had to make to preserve and strengthen the schools and make them better learning centers for our children. Roy will continue to fight hard for our schools and vote to strongly support and fund our public education system." Environment
- Excerpt: "As a sportsman, Roy believes that it is vital that we preserve our environment for the next generation and beyond. He will work to make sure that our natural resources remain healthy and will vote to hold companies accountable if they pollute our streams and air, whether in the Marcellus Shale region or anywhere in our state."
Marcellus Shale
- Excerpt: "Roy believes that it is outrageous that the companies that are taking our resources wouldn’t pay taxes on the gas that they are taking from under Pennsylvania land.
It’s our gas and we should be paid fairly for it. And Roy won’t let them get away with polluting our water and land either." Recreational Opportunities
- Excerpt: "Our parks are important to maintaining a good quality of life in our community. I will support the upkeep and building of community parks. They support the creation and building of healthy strong families."
