Salem Exceed Revenue Limit (2008)
The Salem Exceed Revenue Limit was a school bond issue on the September 9 ballot in the Salem School District, which is in Kenosha County. The purpose of the referendum was to add to the school budget $1,160,000 per year over the state revenue limit. The additional funds would have been used to help pay recurring costs of the school.
A similar measure was on the ballot earlier in the year which failed. Another measure to exceed revenue limits was on the February 17, 2009 ballot. It was defeated.
