Shadyside, Bellaire & Bridgeport School District Levy Measures, 3 (May 2010)
Three School District Levy Measures were on the May 4, 2010 ballot in the school districts of Shadyside, Bellaire and Bridgeport which are in Belmont County.
Two of the three measures were approved
The Shadyside measure sought to renew the current $.50 levy, per $100 of assessed value, for a further five years in order to help pay for the current expenses of the school district.
- YES 841 (57.52%)
- NO 621 (42.48%)
The Bellaire measure sought to add a $1.29 levy, per $100 of assessed value, to the current rate of taxation within the district for a further five years in order to help pay for the emergency requirements of the school district.
- YES 619 (26%)
- NO 1,762 (74%)
The Bridgeport measure sought to replace the current levy with an increased levy of $.60, per $100 of assessed value, for a further five years in order to help pay for current expenses of the school district.[1]
