Opposition

Three of the seven seats on the Dayton Public Schools Board of Education were up for election on November 3, 2015. All members represent the district at-large.

John McManus defeated incumbent Nancy Nerny for a seat on the board. Incumbents Robert Walker and Sheila Taylor won re-election to their seats.[1][2][3]

Candidates Jerome Brunswick, Ann Marie Gallin and John Lumpkin Jr. filed to run in the election, but they withdrew from the race before the withdrawal deadline.[4]

Funding

Taylor reported $5,936.35 in contributions and $5,629.75 in expenditures to the Montgomery County Board of Elections, which left her campaign with $306.60 on hand in the election.[5]

Taylor received no official endorsement for her campaign during the election.
