Sherra Winesett was a Lee County judge of the 20th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. She was appointed by former Governor Lawton Chiles in 1995. She retired on August 31, 2014.[1][2][3]

Education

Winesett received her B.A. in mathematics from the University of Florida. She then returned to that school for her M.Ed., which she received in 1968. She received her J.D. from the University of Florida Law School in 1973 and her LL.M. from the same school.[1][4]

Career

Winesett began her career in 1973 as a private practice lawyer in Fort Myers, Florida, She worked in that capacity until her judicial appointment in 1995.[1][4]
