Sonia Francis-Rolle ran in a special election to the Fulton County Board of Commissioners to represent District 6 in Georgia. She lost in the special general election on September 17, 2019.
Francis-Rolle was a 2018 Republican candidate for Georgia State Superintendent of Schools. She announced her candidacy for the race, but did not appear on the official candidate list.[1] She ran as a write-in candidate.
