Sonja Clapp
Sonja Clapp was a district court judge for the Northeast Central Judicial District of North Dakota. She was based out of Grand Forks, North Dakota, which is located in Grand Forks County. Clapp was elected to the court in 2004 and re-elected in 2010.[1] Clapp retired from the court on December 1, 2014.[2]

Clapp was re-elected to the Northeast Central Judicial District of North Dakota. She received 99.37% of the vote.[3][4]
Education
Clapp received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota and her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law.[4][1]
Career
Before she became a judge, Clapp served as an assistant state's attorney for Grand Forks County from 1988 to 2004. She was elected to the Northeast Central Judicial District in 2004.[4][1]
