THE ENVIRONMENT-The beauty of South Carolina is what draws us to its coast, waterways, forest and mountains. South Carolinians love the great outdoors and we want the beauty of our state to be enjoyed for generations to come. That is why I will fight to keep our waters clean and free from off-shore drilling. I pledge to find solutions for greener energy production, stopping pollution from big industry, and prohibiting the overdevelopment of our beautiful waterways, islands and marshes.

UNDERREPRESENTED COMMUNITIES- As your State Representative for district 112, I am committed to listening to the concerns of underrepresented communities and being an advocate for the issues that impact them the most. As your State Representative, I pledge to create new legislation that will support the needs and vision of a more inclusive and equitable future here in South Carolina.

VETERANS- My father was a Vietnam Veteran. He passed away from service related ALS (Lou Gehrigs disease) just over eight years ago. Since then, I have advocated for new legislation that protects and supports our veterans while overseas and once they've returned home. Our veterans deserve to have a voice in Columbia. They deserve better healthcare, comprehensive mental health support, career transition support and a local leader that will honor and respect the sacrifice they have made for our country.

My lord and savior Jesus Christ. I want to follow his example of love and acceptance, peace and forgiveness, leadership and strength.
Probably the first historical event that I can recall was the NASA Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. I was about six years old at the time. Like many students, I witnessed it live on television and it was absolutely devastating.
One of my first jobs in high school was working as a fundraiser for Paralyzed Veterans of America.
The governor and state legislature must work together and should support one another in policymaking.
I believe in working together to create good policy. I believe nonpartisan legislation is the best legislation.
