Stephen C. Clarke
Stephen C. Clarke was a judge of District 1B of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1997. He was retained on November 2, 2010 to a six-year term that expired on January 1, 2017.[1][2]
Education
Clarke received his bachelor's degree from Conception Seminary College in 1967 and his law degree from the University of Mississippi in 1973.[3]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Clarke worked as a private practice lawyer for 4 years, as a Black Hawk County public defender and for the Central Mississippi Services. He was then appointed an Associate Juvenile Court judge in 1984 and he served in this position until 1997.[3]
2010 election
Clarke was retained on November 2, 2010 with 69.34% of the vote.[1][4]
