Stephen C. Gerard II
Stephen C. Gerard II was an associate judge of the Sixth District of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1995, and he retired in 2015.[1][2]
Biography
Gerard was born in Iowa City, Iowa. He received his bachelor's degree from Drake University in 1972 and his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1975.[1]
Career
Following law school, Gerard served as a judge advocate with the U.S. Air Force until 1980. He then worked as a private practice lawyer until his judicial appointment in 1995. He also served as a magistrate judge of Johnson County.[1]
2010 election
Gerard was retained on November 2, 2010 with 69.93% of the vote.
