Stephen Hollingshead
Stephen Hollingshead was a 2015 Republican candidate for District 33 of the Virginia State Senate.[1]
Previously Hollingshead was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 10th Congressional District of Virginia.[2] He was defeated by Barbara Comstock in the Republican primary.[3]

Elections for the Virginia State Senate took place in 2015. A primary election was held on June 9, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 26, 2015.[4] Incumbent Jennifer Wexton was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Stephen Hollingshead was unopposed in the Republican primary. Wexton defeated Hollingshead in the general election.[5]

Hollingshead ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Virginia's 10th District.[2] Barbara Comstock defeated Hollingshead, Rob Wasinger, Marc Savitt, Howie Lind and Bob Marshall in the firehouse primary held April 26, 2014.[3]
