Steven Tittle was a judge for the 196th District Court in Hunt County, Texas. He was elected to the court in November 2010, and assumed office on January 1, 2011.[1] Tittle ran for re-election in 2014, but he was defeated in the March 4 primary.[2] He resigned from the bench on August 1, 2014.[3][4]

Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 39.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Andrew Bench. [2][5]

Tittle was elected to the 196th District Court. He defeated incumbent Joe Leonard in the general election, winning 61.04% of the vote.[6]

Education

Tittle received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University in 1996 and his J.D. degree from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 2000.[7]
