Susan L. Jacobs is an associate justice for the Norfolk Probate and Family Court in Norfolk County, Massachusetts.[1][2] She was appointed to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on May 8, 2013.[3] Her nomination was confirmed by the Governor's Council on July 3, 2013.[4] Jacobs may serve on the court until she turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[5]
Education
Jacobs received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and her J.D. from the Boston University Law School.[3]
Career
From 1989 until she joined the Norfolk Probate and Family Court in 2013, Jacobs was a partner at the law firm of Volterra, Goldberg & Jacobs in Attleboro, Massachusetts.[3]
