Tanya Lomax
Tanya Lomax is a judge for the Virginia 1st Judicial District. She was appointed to the court by the Virginia General Assembly on February 23, 2021.[1]
Education
Lomax received a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in 1985 and a J.D. from The College of William and Mary in 1989.[2]
Career
At the time of her appointment to the bench, Lomax worked as an attorney. She previously worked as an Assistant Public Defender at the Portsmouth Public Defender's Office.[2]
