|- I am committed to supporting a Community Schools Model, which empowers all stakeholders to be the decision makers through a grassroots democratic process.
- I am committed to ensuring that each of our educators is able to live & work in the areas that they serve & that they are fully equipped to serve each of our students.
- I am committed to ensuring that our schools have the infrastructure & that educators have resources & methods to keep everyone safe.
Over the past three years, we have endured countless challenges as a result of COVID-19, which has also brought many of the inequities within our public schools to the forefront. Safety remains a priority for everyone. Our district continues to suffer from declining enrollment and losing educators to higher paying districts. As your Trustee, I will support a Community Schools Model, which brings students, parents, educators, and community members together to identify and implement solutions to the challenges of our district. Through this model, I will prioritize safety, equity, living wages, and affordable housing. I am committed to working alongside each of you to build enduring and inclusive schools and communities.
