Primary: She was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 14.2 percent of the vote. She competed against Adrian Adams and Angel Varnado. [1][2]

Education

Miles received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Northeast Louisiana University in 1985 and her J.D. degree from the Tulane University Law School in 1992.[3]

Career

Miles runs her own private practice in Gretna, Louisiana. She has previously been a partner at the law firms of Halpern, Danner, Martin & Miles and Bowes & Marrero.[3]
