Thomas F. McGuire Jr.
Thomas F. McGuire Jr. is an associate justice for the Massachusetts Superior Courts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick in March 2009.[2] His nomination was confirmed by the Governor's Council in April 2009, and McGuire was sworn into office on June 23, 2009.[3][4] He may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[5]
Education
McGuire received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his J.D. from the Suffolk University Law School.[2]
Career
Before he joined the Massachusetts Superior Courts, McGuire served as a corporation counsel for the city of Fall River, Massachusetts, from 1996 to 2007.[3]
