Timothy A. Barnes is a judge on the United States bankruptcy court, Northern District of Illinois. He was appointed to this court on May 16, 2012, and his current term will expire on May 15, 2026.[1][2]
Education
Barnes received his undergraduate degree in psychology and linguistics from Miami University in 1989 and his graduate degree in linguistics from The Ohio State University in 1992. In 1995, he received his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.[2][3]
