Timothy F. Sullivan
Timothy F. Sullivan is the chief justice for the Northeast Division of the Massachusetts Housing Courts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Mitt Romney in 2003.[2] Sullivan may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70. He was appointed to a five-year term as chief justice of the court in September 2015, effective October 1.[3]
Education
Sullivan received his undergraduate degree from Merrimack College in 1982 and his J.D. from the New England School of Law in 1991.[2]
Career
From 1991 until his appointment to the Massachusetts Housing Courts in 2003, Sullivan worked as an attorney in private practice in Topsfield, Massachusetts.[2]
