I am running for the North Kansas City School Board because representation matters. I have been a public servant for 22 years. I am also a wife and mother. So, I know what hard work and dedication is all about. I am a great listener and will listen to needs of our community. Through my life experiences, I have the leadership and dedication to put my skills to work for our community.
Students’ safety and education

Public school funding

Representation in all levels of the School District
Integrity, Honesty, Humbleness, Dedication, Loyalty and Faith
I would like to leave a legacy that I trusted God, walked by faith, helped anybody, loved her family, and was not afraid to be the first or scarred to be the last.
The role of a school board member is listen and communicate with facility, students, and the community. A school board member should value the interest of all diverse and economic social backgrounds while ensuring the policies and budgets are set up for all to succeed.
The community the North Kansas City School district services
I would first seek to better understand what those needs are by listening and communicating with them. Then we could research and brainstorm solutions together.
