Tully Shahan is a judge for the Kinney County Court in Texas. He was elected in 2014 for a term that began in January 2015. His current term will end in 2018.[1][2]

Education

Shahan earned a B.S. from Texas A&M University, going on to receive his J.D. from St. Mary's University of San Antonio in 1972.[3][4]

Career

Shahan was an attorney in private practice before being elected judge.[4] He also served as a county attorney for Kinney County.[5]

Shahan ran for election to the Kinney County Court.

Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 53.3% of the vote. He competed against Joe N. Garza, Jr. and Ernest Rodriguez.

General: He defeated Jon Rockow in the general election on November 4, 2014.[1][6][7][8]
