Judge gives foster mother max
Judge Vera Jones gave Charlise "Paris" Adams-Rogers, the foster mother for Isaac Lethbridge who died on August 16th, 2006, the maximum sentence for involuntary manslaughter. Adams-Rogers' defense was that her 12-year-old daughter accidentally murdered Isaac, but Judge Jones stated that Isaac "screamed bloody murder" and she didn't come to his aid. Testimony from a neighbor showed that the child screamed for two to three hours before he died. The judge added that she could see a burn on Isaac that had been from a clothing iron.[7]
