Village and Township Electrical Aggregation Measures, 15 (May 2010)
Fifteen Electrical Aggregation Measures were on the May 4, 2010, ballot in the different villages and townships in Ottawa County, Ohio.
All fifteen areas approved this measure.[1]
There were fifteen different communities that sought to aggregate their electricity needs. This measure made it so that the towns and villages would buy electricity together and as a result get discounts by the electricity company providing service. The measure was designed to allow residents to opt out of this if they wanted to.[2]
