A Ward Township Fire Levy Renewal measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the township of Ward which is in Hocking County.

These measures sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $.15 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services in the township.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Ward Township for the purpose of fire protection at a rate not exceeding one and one-half (1.5) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to fifteen cents ($0.15) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]
