William J. Thurston is a resident judge of the First Circuit Court of Illinois. He serves in Mound City.[1] He was retained on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 6, 2020.[2]

Thurston was retained to the First Circuit Court with 68.7 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [2]

Education

Thurston received a B.S. from Murray State University, going on to earn his J.D. from Southern Illinois University. He was admitted to the practice in 2000.[4]
