Biography

William Pitt graduated from Washington High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in general studies from East Carolina University. Pitt’s career experience includes working as the chairman of the League Tax and Finance Legislative Action Committee with the North Carolina League of Municipalities Board of Directors. He was first elected to serve as a member of the Washington City Council in 2008.[1]
