Wyoming Constitutional Amendment C was on the November 5, 2002, ballot in Wyoming as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment where it was defeated.[1]
Measure C would have limited the governor's partial veto authority (line-item veto authority) to apply only to general appropriations bills.[2]
In order to pass, a constitutional amendment must receive a majority of the total votes cast in the election. The measure failed with yes votes of 44.2%.
