The Yellowstone River Compact is an interstate compact among Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming. The compact established the Yellowstone River Compact Commission, "charged with apportioning the waters of the Yellowstone River and its tributaries." The compact does not grant the commission authority over Yellowstone National Park.[1][2]
